Reunion date: April 29, 2011
Place: Royal Palm Yacht Club, 2360 West First Street, Fort Myers, Fl
Time: 6:00pm to 10:00pm
Dinner with several entree choices (to be announced--stay tuned)
$50/person
Join us April 30, 2011 at the Pioneer Picnic (Last Saturday of the
month). The Pioneer Club Picnic is held in the pavillion at the Lee
Co. Civic Ctr on Bayshore Rd., North Fort Myers. Our Class of 1961
will be the "Guests of Honor" at this years event. Menu is BBQ Chicken
with all the fixins, and the tickets will go on sale at 10 A.M. for
$5, and there is no charge for those who want to come only to visit.
However, we need to know in advance if you will be participating, so
that enough seats can be reserved for all of us to sit together
It has pretty much become a tradition to have a breakfast at FMHS,
meet the current Senior Class, and have a tour of the school. Because
of Spring Break, we could not book Friday AM, but will go on Monday,
May 2nd at 8:00 AM. All who are interested in participating in the
breakfast and/or the tour, will need to let us know in advance! The
registration form includes a block for this activity.
Hope you can join in on this opportunity, should be quite a nostalgic event!!

03/03/08 UPDATE From Beth Alderman (FMHS 1958). Changes Underlined:
Our Class of 1958 50th Class Reunion plans are as follows: We will
meet at 8:00 A.M. on Friday, April 25, 2008, at FMHS for a buffet
breakfast in the school cafeteria after which we will be given a tour
of the school. The cost will be $5.00 per person. That evening at
6:00 P.M. we'll meet for cocktails and dinner at the Royal Palm Yacht
Club at 2360 West First Street. There will be a cash bar and
entertainment for dancing. Dress will be smart casual. Cost will be
$50.00 per person. On Saturday, April 26, 2008, we'll attend the Lee
County Pioneer Picnic at the Lee County Civic Center - Tinsley
Pavilion - on the corner of Bayshore Road and State Road 31 in N. Fort
Myers. As the class celebrating our 50th Reunion, we will be the
honored guests and have the opportunity to file up on a stage and
introduce ourselves. We will be seated together. The cost is $5.00
per person and everyone will purchase their own ticket when they
arrive. The picnic starts at 11:00 A.M.
02/26/08 Lee County Day in the Smokies will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2008.
It will be the same place as last summer. If you have any questions,

Our Class of 1958 50th Class Reunion plans are as follows: We will
meet at 8:30 A.M. on Friday, April 25, 2008, at FMHS for a buffet
breakfast in the school cafeteria after which we will be given a tour
of the school. The cost will be $5.00 per person. That evening at
6:00 P.M. we'll meet for cocktails and dinner at the Royal Palm Yacht
Club at 2360 West First Street. There will be a cash bar and
entertainment for dancing. Dress will be smart casual. Cost will be
$50.00 per person. On Saturday, April 26, 2008, we'll attend the Lee
County Pioneer Picnic at the Lee County Civic Center - Tinsley
Pavilion - on the corner of Bayshore Road and State Road 31 in N. Fort
Myers. As the class celebrating our 50th Reunion, we will be the
honored guests and have the opportunity to file up on a stage and
introduce ourselves. We will be seated together. The cost is $5.00
per person and everyone will purchase their own ticket when they
arrive. The picnic starts at 11:00 A.M.

Looks interesting, but has some really annoying popups that re-pop
with every use of the internal links in the page. Still worth a look.
Class Reunion Websites
claim that they are "a complementary addition to your existing alumni
resources. This is a product of classreport.com and is not affiliated
with Fort Myers High School or its alumni association." They make no
provisions for classes earlier than 1950, so old folks can stay away
from this one. And read EVERYTHING: it says free, but there are some
clever "inducements"...
