Formatting and sending me the scan files.
- The "Rule of Thumb": if the scan looks bad to you
it will usually look bad on the web page!- It doesn't take an expensive scanner to get scans
good enough to show on a web page.- Scan at a minimum of 250dpi or 300dpi [RESOLUTION]
- Set scanner to "COLOR"
- Set scanner to "PHOTOGRAPHS"
- Scan at the setting for MAGAZINE quality.
- Scan at highest quality and/or lowest speed.
- Scan with "descreening" feature ON.
- Size of the indvidual FACES in the yearbook determines the scan
needed. If large, then send me individual scans of each face.
If small, then scan each page or group of faces and I can extract
individual face images from the larger image.
- Scan the WHOLE page, not just a section, unless needed.
